Carry the stick
Now the pebbles are at the river and the glasses are back at the house. You cannot see both at once, and you cannot carry the pebbles.
You can carry a stick. Cut a notch for each pebble at the river, then walk to the house. There, tap a glass to turn it over and strike off one notch.
